Infamously known as "The Land of Fires," in the Campania Region an environmental crisis stemming from illegal waste dumping and burning has persisted since the 1980s, resulting in severe health issues, environmental degradation, and agricultural contamination. Terra Felix is a social cooperative fostering cultural, social, and environmentally focused projects in the Campania region. Under the leadership of Francesco Pascale, the cooperative’s sustainable efforts involve regenerating soil through thistle cultivation, sustainable farming, and promoting environmental education. As the waste management crisis persists, the need to support and recognize organizations like Terra Felix is apparent.
